James Murphy
Mr. Murphy has over two decades of experience fighting for the rights of clients injured as a result of the negligence of others. He concentrates his practice on representation of Plaintiffs in all aspects of personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, bus accidents, bicycle accidents, dram shop litigation, premises liability, products liability, medical negligence and wrongful death.
Mr. Murphy has extensive experience representing clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, having successfully litigated hundreds of cases through arbitration and trial. He is certified as an arbitrator in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, serves as a private mediator and has been called upon to handle pro bono assignments for the Superior Court of New Jersey. In addition to personal injury litigation, Mr. Murphy serves as Board President of a homeowners’ association in Burlington County, New Jersey, volunteers in aid of those suffering from homelessness in Camden, New Jersey and is an active member of his church.
Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Gettysburg College and Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Philadelphia Bar Association and the New Jersey Association for Justice.
